About us
syncmethods builds and sells software products, and provides the engineering talent to build yours. Two lines of work, one underlying idea: software is only worth anything once it's in someone's hands and being used.
Most companies find us because they need engineers and can't hire them fast enough. Sometimes that's one developer to join a team that's already moving. Sometimes it's a full cross-functional group — engineering, QA, design, delivery — to take a product from an idea to something live. Occasionally it's a defined project handed over end to end, with a scope and a date attached.
We deliver all three, which is less a boast than an admission that no single arrangement suits every project. A team that only sells dedicated squads will recommend a dedicated squad whatever you describe. We'd rather tell you which shape fits, including when the honest answer is that you don't need us yet — you need a clearer specification, or a fix to the deployment process that's slowing everything down, or one senior hire rather than three contractors.
Alongside the services work we build our own products: business software aimed at specific kinds of operator rather than at everyone. That's a deliberate bet, and it comes from what we keep seeing in client work.
General-purpose software makes every business bend to fit it. That's fine for accounting, where the rules are genuinely universal. It's a poor fit for the enormous number of businesses whose work has a specific shape — a fire safety inspection firm whose real product is a defensible record, an elevator maintenance company judged on entrapment response times, a customs broker whose classification decisions have to be explicable years later.
Those operators are usually offered a platform built for a job-and-invoice business, and end up running it alongside a spreadsheet and a folder of PDFs. We think that gap is where the most useful software gets built. It's why our industry coverage names20 specialist niches inside 19 broader sectors, instead of stopping at "construction" and "healthcare" like everyone else.
Your timezone, not ours. Distance isn't what makes remote delivery difficult — decision latency is. An engineer blocked at 11am who can't get an answer until tomorrow has lost a day for a question that takes thirty seconds to answer. We arrange working hours so there's a real overlap with your day, and we put those hours in the contract rather than in the sales conversation.
Your process, not a parallel one. Our engineers work in your repository, your ticket system, your review standards. There's no separate status layer, no account manager translating between your team and the people writing the code. If you want to talk to the engineer, you talk to the engineer.
Small teams, senior enough to argue. The most expensive thing an outside team can do is build exactly what was asked for when it was the wrong request. We'd rather have the awkward conversation in week one than deliver something technically correct and commercially useless.
Knowledge that stays with you. Written decisions, your own engineers on reviews, and no critical part of a system that only we understand. Engagements end. What you should be left with is working software and a team that knows why it works the way it does.

Our delivery team is based in Bengaluru — Devarabeesanahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560103, India — and we work with clients across the United States, the United Kingdom, India and the UAE. Bengaluru matters practically rather than sentimentally: it gives us access to a deep engineering market, and it sits in a timezone that overlaps most of the working day in Europe and the Gulf, with an arranged overlap into North American mornings.
We've delivered 60+ projects for 30+ companies, across36 service areas and 103+ technologies. Some of those clients you'll find quoted on our homepage, by name and job title, because a testimonial without a person attached isn't worth publishing.
Since our start, we've helped over 30 companies build software that ships. Whether you need to hire a few developers or an entire product team, our vetting process gives you access to talent that's in sync with your goals — and your timezone.

Syncmethods Founders
Animesh Maity & Subham Manna
We work best with people who know what problem they're solving, even if the solution is still open. Founders building a first product and needing engineering they can't yet justify hiring. Engineering leaders who need capacity without a headcount approval cycle. Operators in specific industries who've concluded, usually correctly, that nothing on the market fits how their business actually runs.
We're a poor fit for anyone who wants the cheapest possible hourly rate, or a team that will build precisely what's asked without comment. Both are legitimate things to want. Neither is what we do well, and it's cheaper for everyone to establish that early.
Tell us what you're building and where it's stuck. We'll give you a straight read on what the work involves and what kind of team it needs.
We reply within one business day.
